Best fit – Recommendation
- Body vs. Shirt: Choose a size whose shirt chest measurement has at least Body chest + 6–10 cm of ease (tight = +6–8 cm, normal = +8–10 cm).
- In between sizes? For layering or athletic shoulders, take a size up.
- Sleeve length: The end of the sleeve should cover the wrist without extending beyond the base of the thumb.
How to measure properly (body measurements)
1. Chest: Place the measuring tape horizontally around the fullest part of the chest/back, breathing normally.
2. Shoulder: Straight line from shoulder tip to shoulder tip over the back.
3. Length: From the highest point of the shoulder to the desired hem.
4. Sleeve: From the shoulder tip to the wrist with the arm slightly bent.
Tip: Measure a well-fitting shirt flat and compare with the chart – this is the safest way to choose.
